Massage eases tight muscles around painful joints, aids mobility, and supports your dog's overall well-being — at any stage of life.

Core Benefits

What clinical canine massage can do for your dog

Backed by Clinical Research

Published clinical trials show that 95% of dogs benefit within 1–3 sessions, giving owners confidence that massage is a meaningful, evidence‑supported therapy. (Canine Massage Guild 2020)

Complements Veterinary Care

Clinical canine massage complements medication, hydrotherapy, physiotherapy and controlled exercise plans. Together, these approaches help maintain comfort, mobility and quality of life.

My treatment of your dog

Firstly I ALWAYS work with veterinary consent. As each & every dog is unique, so are their needs. I use a blend of clinical, therapeutic and gentle techniques to support comfort, mobility and soft‑tissue health. Each session is tailored to your dog, based on a full assessment, gait analysis and body mapping.

What to Expect

What to Expect in a Session

Every session is designed to help your dog feel safe, comfortable and understood. I work slowly, gently and with your dog’s consent at every stage.

01.

A Warm Welcome & Gentle Introduction

I begin by letting your dog get used to me & the environment in their own time. There’s no rush, building trust is a key & important part of the process.

02.

Full Assessment & Gait Analysis

I observe how your dog moves, stands and uses their body. This helps me understand where they may be compensating, holding tension or experiencing discomfort. I will also run through some simple questions with you, about their daily lives & routines.

03.

Body Mapping & Palpation

Using calm, structured hands‑on assessment, I identify areas of tightness, pain, soft‑tissue injury or restricted movement, working at a pace your dog is happy with.  This guides the techniques I choose for your dog.

04.

Tailored Massage Therapy

Your dog receives a bespoke combination of techniques from Swedish and Sports Massage to Deep Tissue, Neuromyofascial Release or The Lenton Method®  depending on what their body needs that day.

05.

Your Dog Sets the Pace

I always work with your dog’s comfort and consent. Breaks, repositioning, reassurance and gentle pauses are all part of the process.

06.

Aftercare & Support

At the end of the session, I share simple aftercare guidance and let you know what I found, how your dog responded, and what may help them between sessions.
